Zion Medicinals Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Review
I recently had the opportunity to try a hemp oil product from Zion Medicinals. They offer a full spectrum CBD hemp oil product versus a CBD isolate. I will explain the differences below. The reason I wanted to try this CBD product is for pain. Having lived with chronic pain for nearly 20 years due to a neurological movement disorder called dystonia, I am always looking for ways to better manage my symptoms. My symptoms not only include pain, but involuntary muscle spasms/contractions, overall muscle tightness, and restricted head/neck movement.
CBD isolate versus full spectrum CBD
What differentiates full spectrum from the standard CBD oil or CBD isolate is the number of cannabinoids in the product. The hemp plant is made up of over 100 cannabinoids (chemical compound), but the 2 most recognized are CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). There are several other cannabinoids that have medicinal healing properties.
While there is no regulation on how many cannabinoids qualify for ‘full spectrum’ status, Zion Medicinals’ full spectrum hemp extract has 7 cannabinoids that claims to give the user the highest quality and medicinal healing benefits. Research has found that a combined CBD and THC content product produces what’s called the ‘entourage effect.’ This is where all the cannabinoids and terpenes are working together in synergy, something that CBD isolate products lack. However, I have found benefit from both full spectrum and isolate products, so it truly is an individual thing, so try several to see what helps you most.

I took their 750 mg product for a month (they also have a 1500 mg product and topical salve) and unfortunately did not find any benefit. I tried a variety of different doses. Here is a link to dosing on their website that may be of help to you if you decide to try it. My lack of benefit is not to say that the product is without merit, as many people have found it to be very helpful. Please take a moment to read their story of how it all began.
I am relatively new to the CBD world and am finding that it takes trial and error when selecting a product that will be of help. There are so many products from which to choose so if CBD is of interest to you, please try several brands. Cost widely varies as well. If you have any questions about Zion Medicinal 750 mg Full Spectrum Hemp Oil, check out their FAQ page on their website.

Hi Tom,
My holistic doctor recently told me he thinks the Endoca brand of CBD oil is a good one too. I haven’t looked into it yet as I am currently using a different brand. Thought you might like to know.
Thanks Joyce. I have not heard of that brand. I will have a look. Please let me know what you think of it if you try it. I will do the same. Thanks!
Dear Tom
Thanks for your review and your dedication to our cause. Medical marijuana and marijuana for personal use has been legalized in Lombardy where I live, which is a great thing.
I went to a shop in Milan and explained my symptoms and illness to very helpful staff.
I bought some crystals for making tea with 95% CBD and 5% THC. The results were extremely good and I had no side effects.
Unfortunately my Neurologist is against medical marijuana, largely due to ignorance ( I have done extensive research ).
I had 4 days of normal life but it cost me 60 euros.
On Wednesday I have an appointment with a pain management specialist at another hospital.
His signature would be enough to allow me free access to medical marijuana, and there is a pharmacy which specialises in this near where I live.
It would literally change my life.
Wish me luck and thank you again for all your help.
That’s fantastic news Pauline! I am so glad you found something to be so helpful and that your pain management doctor can write a script for you. Having been through so much, I am really excited for you and the possibilities this brings!! Thanks very much for sharing this with me and please keep me posted. Best wishes always!
